Sail with us from Secrets Papagayo in Playa Buena, in Papagayo Guanacaste. Clients have a unique experience, sailing along the rugged and dramatic Guanacaste coastline, where rocky cliffs, beaches, bays and abundant beautiful natural scenery abound. The tours include snorkeling equipment to explore the islets and rock reefs in the area, as well as paddle boards, fishing rods and some other toys. The crew will ensure that each private tour goes perfectly, spending time serving drinks, meals, but also playing the role of guides, showing as many species of marine wildlife as possible, including sea turtles, dolphins, coral fish and even humpback whales, during some months of the year.

Private half day sailing charters

The half-day private catamaran charter lasts 4 hours, and can be booked from 830 to 1230 or in the afternoon to watch the sunset before the return trip, which is from 2 to 6 pm. Both tours include open bar, cocktails, light meals and snacks, snorkeling, paddle boards and great sailing catamarans, with the best crew.

Full day sailing charters

The full day catamaran tour departs from Secrets Papagayo at 10 am and returns 8 hours later, just after sunset. As with the half day tours it includes drinks, meals, snorkeling, paddle boards as well as a visit to a remote and pristine beach far from the hotel. Additionally, the full day tour includes a delicious and abundant lunch served on a remote beach, BBQ style, or on board the catamaran if any condition would prevent you from doing it on the beach.

Sailing Secrets Papagayo

Secrets Papagayo is located in Playa Buena, at the beginning of Culebra Bay, in the Papagayo area. Like most of the beaches in Culebra Bay, we can pick up guests directly in front of the hotel, on the beach. This greatly enhances the experience, as there is no need to travel to a nearby marina or port. Secrets Papagayo is an all-inclusive beach hotel that offers rooms with panoramic views, some of them overlooking the sea. It also has restaurants, bars, stores, entertainment activities and a fitness center.
