Catamaran sailing tours in the Papagayo Peninsula, in the north of Guanacaste, one of the most memorable experiences to explore the northern Pacific of Costa Rica, and explore the many coves, islands, islets and rocky cliffs of the most remote and undeveloped areas of Guanacaste. The area of the Gulf of Papagayo, the Papagayo Peninsula and also Culebra Bay offer some of the calmest waters for catamaran and sailboat sailing, because there are no big waves or strong winds. This allows you to explore the area even better, marvel to admire the landscapes, visit beaches, discover the marine fauna while snorkeling or enjoy paddle boards while exploring some of the coves in the area.
Our private morning tour departs at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 12:30 p.m. This tour includes drinks, meals, snorkeling, paddle boards, and visiting remote sites along the coast to discover another side of Guanacaste. The morning tour features cooler weather, fewer people in the sea and a total focus on the natural beauties of Guanacaste's Pacific Ocean, including seeing sea turtles, dolphins and maybe even whales. The afternoon tour, or private sunset tour, is for those who don't want to wake up early and who want to watch the sunset from aboard the catamaran. Just like the morning half day tour, the sunset charter includes drinks, meals, snorkeling, paddle boards and the script is similar, visiting and enjoying remote and natural sites.
If you want to enjoy a full day ocean expedition, where you can explore the most remote coastline, swim in the sea and explore rock pinnacles and reefs in search of coral fish while snorkeling, the private tour is ideal for you. This 8-hour private charter departs at 10 am and returns at 6 pm, after sunset. It includes unlimited drinks, light meals, snorkeling paddle boards as well as fishing. Additionally, the full day private tour includes a delicious lunch, freshly prepared.
The Papagayo Peninsula has a unique and privileged geography, as it is protected from big waves and has a dramatic, interesting and mysterious geography. Because of this, you can sail to many places along the coast between Culebra Bay and the farthest part of the Peninsula, where there are pristine and desolate beaches, as well as islands and islets with paradisiacal beaches and great snorkeling sites. Our focus will always be to provide the best natural, sea and marine wildlife experience, while providing all services on board, served by an excellent crew on quality catamarans. Another advantage of the peninsula is that you can easily board directly from the front of most hotels, assuming they are oceanfront.
We use only the best catamarans available in the area, captained by knowledgeable people and crews dedicated to good service. It is very important to us that the crew not only provides the service, but that they have basic knowledge of the area, the nature and the animals that can be seen on the way.
