JW Marriott is a fantastic hotel located south of Tamarindo, and although we cannot sail directly from the hotel, we offer transportation to and from JW Marriott to Flamingo or Portero, or if the client has a car, they can drive directly to our docks in Flamingo. Sailing during your stay at JW Marriott is an excellent idea, as it will show you a more natural and wild side of Guanacaste, as you explore the dramatic and interesting Guanacaste coastline. During the tour, you will enjoy beaches, swim in the ocean, snorkel around a rock pinnacle or islet or use our paddle boards. All our private charters are focused on the natural part, enjoying the scenic beauty and enjoying everything marine, from snorkeling, seeing turtles, dolphins or exploring a pristine cove.

Private half day sailing charters

Join us on a 4 hour private tour during which you will sail on a beautiful sailing catamaran along the coastline north of the JW Marriott, to sites of incredible scenic beauty and nature. In Guanacaste there are still plenty of remote and undeveloped beaches, where you can enjoy the warm sea, swimming in crystal clear waters, snorkeling, paddle boarding, even kayaking or fishing. Enjoy exploring a more remote and natural side of the province, and with luck, you may see sea turtles, dolphins and during some months even humpback whales. The tour includes open bar and meals. It can be booked in the morning and also in the afternoon hours.

If you are looking for the ultimate experience of ocean, sailing, snorkeling, catamaran sailing and seeing the dramatic and rugged but beautiful Guanacaste coastline, our full day private tour is your best choice. This fascinating 8 hour trip includes drinks, meals, full lunch, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaks and a route that will take you to the most beautiful sites along the coast of Guanacaste. The tour lasts 8 hours and goes from 10 am to 6 pm, so you can watch the sunset at the end of the tour.
