JW Marriott Guanacaste Private Tours

For clients staying at JW Marriott, we pick them up and take them to Flamingo in case of the regular tour ( also Tamarindo ), or in case of the private tour, we will pick them up right on the beach with our Apex engine motorboat, taking smaller groups one by one to the Catamaran. The return can in this case also be back right on the beach. From JW Marriott we also operate all three tours, the 4 hour morning tour ( 8 – 12 with snorkeling included ), the 4 hour afternoon and sunset tour ( 2 – 6 ) and the full day private catamaran adventure, normally from 10 to 6 PM. You can book and request a customized trip in advance, indicating the highlights or the main interests your party has ( in case of a private tour )

The beautiful JW Marriott Guanacaste hotel and Hacienda Pinilla is the southernmost point of our area of operation. Due to beach conditions, it is not possible to pick up directly on the beach, however, clients are transferred to Playa Tamarindo, about 25 minutes or so away, and the tour departs from there or from the Flamingo Marina in Playa Flamingo. For JW Marriott we offer sailboats, sailing catamarans as well as motor boat and yacht tours. Tours available are the 4 hour morning or afternoon tour as well as the full 8 hour tour, which runs from 10 am to 6 PM.

Avalable boats and sailboats

Let us know in advance what kind of boat you are interested in. A smaller boat, a medium sized yacht, a large yacht, a sailboat or a catamaran sailboat. Activities available might also changer slightly depending on the boat, although most include snorkeling gear, and many also include kayaks and paddle boards for extra enjoyment when visiting remote beaches or make a stop at a rocky islet for snorkeling. Fishing rods can also be included if requested in advance. In case you are interested ina fishing trip, we have a fleet for boats and fishing yachts available for coastal half day an full day fishing as well as off shore or deep sea fishing.

Snorkeling Tour JW Marriott

If you are staying at JW Marriott, this private snorkeling trip is ideal for you. We offer two departures, the 30 to 12 one in the morning and the 1 : 30 to 6 PM in the afternoon. First we will pick you up in our private mini van ( AC equipped ) and take you to the docks and marina in Flamingo, around 3 minutes North. Once there, you will be greeted by our staff and get on our boat, The Yellowin, a 28ft custom design with a 115 HP Yamaha Outboard. Also included canopy with lots of shade, Marine Head with toilet , Marine Radio, GPS and Fish Finder. After departing, usually to a secret spot not too far away, you will get into the calm and warm waters. Although Guanacaste does not offer huge coral reefs like the Caribbean does, it does offer a vast area of interesting rocky pinnacles, caverns, patches of sand that blend into a landscape of rocks where many species of tropical Pacific Ocean fish inhabit. Species you might encounter include King Angel Fish, Puffer Fish, Surgeon Fish, Parrotfish, Damsels, Moray Eels, Jacks, Rays and plenty more. On the way back and also during, you will also be able to enjoy stand up paddle and fishing. You can come aboard anytime to enjoy water, juice, fruits and some snacks that are included.
