Sailing Flamingo

Sailing and Flamingo in Guanacaste are intimately linked, as Flamingo is where we have the majority of our catamaran fleet. Flamingo has a splendid marina, and nearby at Playa Potrero, we have even more places where we anchor and set sail when we offer our private sailing catamaran charters. Boarding at Flamingo is certainly convenient, not only because of the ease, but also because close to Flamingo are several of the natural sites we visit during our private charters. Our idea is to show clients sites away from civilization, and even though we include all the required services, such as open bar, light meals and music system, our purpose is to go further and show clients the natural beauties of the area. Exploring reefs and snorkeling, sailing on a SUP board or kayak or fishing for fish are all part of the experience. Swimming in the sea, appreciating the sky and landscapes and appreciating the dramatic geography with coves, bays and islets complete the experience.

Private half day sailing charters

Our half day tours include a complete set of activities to get the most out of these 4 hours. Whether you leave in the morning or afternoon, both half day tours include the same: Snorkeling, paddle boards, fishing, open bar, light meals and sailing downwind to one of the many pristine beaches in the area, where you can discover the aquatic landscape by snorkeling, or paddle sup boards around rocks and islets.

Full day sailing charters

For those looking for an even longer experience, we have the full day tour, which departs at 10 am and returns at 6 pm. This tour includes all the services of the half day tours, but in addition, a rich and complete lunch served either on the boat or near a remote beach. In these 8 hours, you will enjoy ecotourism, nature and soft adventure activities, such as snorkeling, sup, kayaking or fishing. Resting on the beach, without the noise of the hotel development, swimming in the warm waters typical of Guanacaste, snorkeling or exploring or simply resting on the catamaran or on the sand are just some of the things our clients prefer.

Sailing Flamingo

Playa Flamingo has been a perfect place for sailing for decades, since it has a protected bay as well as a modern marina. This makes boarding at Flamingo easy, safe and fast. Additionally, near Flamingo Beach there are several remote and pristine sites, which we visit during our private tours, where people can snorkel, paddle board or swim in the beautiful warm tropical waters characteristic of Guanacaste. The beautiful Punta Gorda, to the north, has beautiful virgin beaches, such is the case of Guacamaya, Guacamayita, Dantita and many others.

We have a diverse fleet of catamarans, and you can choose the one that is most to your liking according to price, capacity or amenities. However, all the crews and even the tour scripts are very similar, and all include basically the same services. In fact, a plus of our tours is the quality of the crew, as both captain and sailors are totally oriented to offer an excellent service on board, as well as provide the knowledge of the region, which further enhances the experience of sailing with us.
