Flamingo Beach is located in the country of Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We operate both regular and private sailing tours and boat charters for clients staying in Flamingo, or any other nearby location, including Brasilito, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Sugar Beach. Both the morning sailing tour as well as the afternoon sunset tour include the same, snorkeling, kayaking, fresh fruit, water, juices, sodas, beer, spirits and cocktails as well as snacks. Our tours are more nature focused, meaning that although there is the top comfort onboard during the drip, we are not a party boat, with loud music. We are perfect for smaller groups or larger families that look for a private sailing tour. We can also organize a full day sailing tour, that will besides also include a BBQ lunch on a secluded beach somewhere. The afternoon sunset 4 hour tour is loved because you will be able to watch the incredible colorful sunsets from onboard the catamaran. We pick people up and drop them off right from the beach. Playa Flamingo , Guanacaste, has been for decades an important spot because it was the first place in Guanacaste to have a marina where boats, yachts, catamarans and sailboats anchored. Today, the Marina is being remodeled and in January 2022 it will be one of the most impressive marinas in Costa Rica. However, apart from the marina, we have been picking up clients at different points in Flamingo, although indeed going to the marina and boarding there is the most comfortable option. From Flamingo we operate all our private tours, from the morning charter, the afternoon tour and the full day private tour. Available boats and sailboats

Let us know in advance what kind of boat you are interested in. A smaller boat, a medium sized yacht, a large yacht, a sailboat or a catamaran sailboat. Activities available might also changer slightly depending on the boat, although most include snorkeling gear, and many also include kayaks and paddle boards for extra enjoyment when visiting remote beaches or make a stop at a rocky islet for snorkeling. Fishing rods can also be included if requested in advance. In case you are interested ina fishing trip, we have a fleet for boats and fishing yachts available for coastal half day an full day fishing as well as off shore or deep sea fishing.

Snorkeling Tour Flamingo Beach

Flamingo Beach is our main departure for our morning ( 730 – 12:00 ) and afternoon ( 1:30 – 6:00 )snorkeling tours. Our boat, The Yellowfin, is based at the Marina. If you are staying in Flamingo Beach, you can either meet us at the Marina or we can pick you up at the hotel ( included ). All around Flamingo, there are plenty of snorkeling sites, and know them all, from Isla Plata, Playa de Amor, Brummel Islands and many more. Depending on the visibility and sea conditions, including tides, currents and winds, we decide which site is best, but all of them are the same in the sense of providing you the best snorkeling experience. Our tour includes fresh fruit, water, drinks and snacks, as well as first class and well kept snorkeling masks, fins and snorkels. Our guides are friendly, knowledgeable and service focused. Our tour also includes stand up paddling and fishing. ( Fishing and SUP boards included in the trip but IMPORTANT: REQUEST FIRST ). About species you might encounter while snorkeling, these include many colorful coral fishing, sea stars, Pufer Fish ( up to three species ), octopus, eels, crabs and lobsters, rays, including sting rays, eagle rays and other species of fish ( Jack, snappers, groupers ) and larger schools of of many other species. During the afternoon snorkeling tour, on the way back, you will enjoy the amazing colors of the incredible sunsets typical of Guanacaste. Transport back to the hotel is also included.
