From a half day inshore tour, to a full day inshore fishing tour, to a half day or full day deep sea fishing tour, Guanacaste offers it all. Some of the most sought after species are billfish, including Marlin and Sailfish. Other species, equally liked by fishermen are Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Barracuda, Red Snapper, Jacks, Yellowfin Tuna and Roosterfish. Fishing is conducted under the CATCH AND RELEASE philosophy, however, this applies to billfish species. If you catch a snapper, tuna, jack mackerel, or mahi mahi, you can bring it back to the hotel and have it prepared to your liking in the hotel's kitchen. In some cases, especially in the case of tuna, our staff can prepare a delicious Tuna Sashimi on board the boat.
